    What is the relaxation given for SC/ST candidates on IBPS PO exam 2013?

    Required eligibility conditions for IBPS PO 2013 Exam are as follows:

    Candidate must have acquired any degree from recognized University.

    Candidate must have more than 20 years and not less than 30 years for general category.

    There is Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

    The maximum age limit is 33 years for OBC Category.

    The maximum age limit is 35 years for SC/ST Category.

    The maximum age limit is 40 years for PWD Category.

    No computer literacy is required.

    As you belong to SC Category, there is age relaxation for you upto 5 years.

    And there will also be relaxation for you in the cut-off scores required to qualify the written exam.

    The age relaxation:

    For sc /st 5 years

    Obc 3 years

    Person with disabilities (PHC) 10 years

    Ex-Servicemen, Emergency Commissioned
    Officers /Short Service Commissioned
    Officers who have rendered at least 5 years 5 years.
    military service and have been released on
    completion of assignment

    Candidate who Permanent in Kashmir of
    state j & K in the period of 01-01-1980-31 -12-1989 5 years

    Candidate who were effected with 1984 roits 5 years

    the educational qualification is degree with minimum 60% from any recognized university or equivalent Degree from any Central Govt Recognized university.

    the cut of will be less when compared to others..

    sc/st candidates should score minimum 21 in each section

    1.you should have a graduation degree from any recognized university.
    2.age limitation between
    for ibps po -21-30
    ibps clerk -20-28
    ibps i t officer - 21-30
    3.age relaxation

    for sc/st - 5 year
    obc -3 year
    p.d. - 10 year
    if you belong to sc/st so you have a age relaxation of 5 year
    if you belong to obc so you have a age relaxation of 3 year.

    computer knowledge
    resoning
    aptitude
    general awareness including banking knowledge

    Hello dude!

    Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection conducts common written examination for the Clerk and Probationary Officer posts.As you belong to SC/ST you will avail age relaxation only.There is no relaxation for educational qualification.The details are as follows:

    • The educational qualification required is graduation for both Clerk as well as P.O posts.
    • The minimum age must be 20 years.
    • The maximum age limit for general category candidates is 28 years for CLERK posts and 30 years for P.Officer posts.
    • The candidates belonging to SC/ST category will get 5 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to OBC category will get 3 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to Physically handicapped category will get 10 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to Ex-service men category will get 5 years upper age relaxable.
    • Widows and divorced women will get their upper age relaxable for 5 years.
    • Persons affected in 1984 riots will get 5 years upper age relaxable.

    These are the details of the examinations conducted by IBPS.So the candidates belonging to SC/ST category will avail upper age relaxation for 5 years.Other than that nothing is provided.

    Relaxations for S/C S/T candidates is :-

    Though educational qualification in respect of all categories for IBPS PO/Clerk is equal.There are facilities

    inrespect of Age and sectional cut off marks,total marks is obviously available.

    AGE RELAXATIONS: General: 20-28 years, relaxations for OBC: 3 years, S/C S/T: 5 years, PWD: 10 years.

    Sectional Cut up marks to obtain in each subject ia 17 only where a UR category student to get 24 marks in each

    Subject.

    The acronym for IBPS is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.


    The acronym for PO is Probationary Officer.


    The eligibility criteria required for the IBPS PO examination are prescribed as below:-

    * Completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university.

    * Final year contenders are not eligible.

    * Percentage criteria is not required.

    Age relaxation will be 5 years for the sc/st.

    The eligibility for PO exam is as follows

    The candidate should have graduated from a recognized university
    There is no percentage restriction for this exam
    No need of any certificate in computer operations/languages

    The age limit should be within 20 to 30 years

    The age relaxation is as follows

    For SC/ST candidates the age is relaxed by 5 years
    For OBC candidates the age is relaxed by 3 years
    For PWD candidates the age is relaxed by 10 years

    So according to the above information sc/st candidates has the age limit as 20 - 35 years
    You can apply for the PO exam up to 35 years of your age

    Qualification is required candidate must have graduate in any stream from the approved university with any percentage of marks
    For the PO exam age limit is the 21to 30 years.
    Age limit for the unreserved category is the 21 to 3 years

    The age criteria to apply for this exam for the general category candidate is 20 to 30 years.

    However the OBC candidate gets a relaxation of 3 years.

    Sc/St candidate gets a relaxation of 5 years.

    And Physically Disabled candidate gets a relaxation of 10 years..

    Apart from this to apply for this exam you must have completed your graduation from a recognized university..

    the age relaxation for the IBPS PO exam is same for 2013 and as not changed.
    the age limit are as follows.

    20-30yrs for general category
    20-33 yrs for OBC
    20-35 yrs for SC/ST

    5 years of relaxation is given for SC/ST
