Re: Qualifying score for IBPS Clerk 2013

Since last year IBPS has change the exam pattern of clerk. Now there are 5 subjects which are same like 2011 clerk exam( REASONING,APTITUDE,ENGLISH,GENERAL AWARENESS & COMPUTER AWARENESS). but number of questions came down to 40 in each subjects earlier it was 50.each subjects has 40 questions of 40 marks, exam is online. There is no offline exam, duration of exam is 120 minutes. Now you must score 17 marks in each of the subjects out of 40 marks to qualify the exam for reserved category candidates. On the other hand 19 marks for General category candidates out of 40 marks. So,you must need to score that much marks in order to pass the exam or will fail. But to get interview chance I suggest you to score more than 22-23 marks in each subjects.

Re: Qualifying score for IBPS Clerk 2013

Dear IBPS has fixed a criteria of scoring marks in the CWE according to category which called weighted

General Category candidates : 21 marks in each subject but must have at least 130 marks out of 200

OBC Category candidates : 21 marks in each subject but must have at least 120 marks out of 200

SC Category candidates : 17 marks in each subject but must have at least 110 marks out of 200

ST Category candidates : 17 marks in each subject but must have at least 100 marks out of 200

Example and Solution : Suppose if you belongs to General Category then you would have to score at least 130 marks out of 200 and must have at least 21 marks minimum in each subject to be qualified but if you score more than 21 marks in each subject and get between 120-129 then you would not be considered as selected because you have to score minimum 130 out of 200 marks

This is a weighted criteria of marks decided by IBPS from the year 2012 and because of this criteria so many candidates are there who have got failed from 1-2 marks but dear if you are preparing well and wants to enter in the bank then you can score more than the fixed criteria

Examination Process : If IBPS publish the notification for this examination and starts the application through online mode then you should apply for this exam at - www.ibps.in and print the application form and pay the fee for the examination and prepare for the exam and before 10 days of your examination you would get the examination call letter at the official website of IBPS and you should download that admit card and go to the examination center which is mentioned in your admit card and do not forget to bring any one ID Proof before going to the examination hall and when you would sit at your fixed seat and see your computer then you would have to fill some details and complete your examination and you may instantly see that how many questions you have solved in that examination and after sometime you would receive your result status at the official website and if you have qualified in the examination then you would be called for interview by IBPS and after qualifying the interview you would get the job

    All the best

cutofff for this depends on the type of the paper of that year. whether it is easy hard or in medium way. cutoff may vary from year to year. if u are well prepared u can easily clear this exam. generally cutofff for general category will be around 120 to 130. and the cutoff is somewhat less for obc, sc and st candidates.......

The qualifying score depends upon the vacancies of the jobs. The persons are taken in the ratio of 1:3 (i.e) 1/3 rd of the persons are chosen for interview from the people who appeared for the exam... It also depends on the community to which you belong...

Dear, qualifying score for ibps exam is 120 for general candidates and 105 for reserved candidates. But this is not a safe score because for getting a job you have to score more than qualified score. Cutoff is more than qualified. I think 160- 170 score will be safe for you.

Re: Qualifying score for IBPS Clerk 2013

Since last year IBPS has modification the test pattern of clerk. Now there square measure five subjects that square measure same like 2011 clerk exam( REASONING,APTITUDE,ENGLISH,GENERAL AWARENESS & pc AWARENESS). however variety of queries lessened to forty in every subjects earlier it had been fifty.each subjects has forty queries of forty marks, exam is on-line.There is no offline test, duration of test is one hundred twenty minutes. Now you want to score seventeen marks in every of the topics out of forty marks to qualify the test for reserved class candidates. On the opposite hand nineteen marks for General class candidates out of forty marks. So,you must have to be compelled to score that abundant marks so as to pass the test or can fail. But to induce interview probability I counsel you to get quite 22-23 marks in every subjects.
Example and answer : Suppose if you belongs to General class then you'd got to score a minimum of one hundred thirty marks out of two hundred and should have a minimum of twenty one marks minimum in every subject to be qualified however if you score quite twenty one marks in every subject and acquire between 120-129 then you'd not be thought of as selected as a result of you've got to get minimum one hundred thirty out of two hundred marks

this is often a weighted criteria of marks set by IBPS from the year 2012 and since of this criteria such a large amount of candidates square measure there UN agency have gotten failing from 1-2 marks however pricey if you're making ready well and needs to enter within the bank then you'll be able to score quite the fastened criteria

Examination method : If IBPS publish the notification for this testination and starts the applying through on-line mode then you must apply for this exam at - World Wide Web.ibps.in and print the applying kind and pay the fee for the testination and harden the exam and before ten days of your examination you'd get the examination decision letter at the official web site of IBPS and you must transfer that admit card and head to the examination center that is mentioned in your admit card and don't forget to bring anybody ID Proof before aiming to the examination hall and once you would sit at your fastened seat and see your pc then you'd got to fill some details and complete your examination and you'll instantly see that what number queries you've got resolved in this examination and when someday you'd receive your result standing at the official web site and if you've got qualified within the examination then you'd be mixed up interview by IBPS and when qualifying the interview you'd get the work

Re: Qualifying score for IBPS Clerk 2013

Dear aspirant, It depends upon the cutoff marks of the state to know the minimum marks for selection, there are many states in india and the lowest cutoff all over india is of south india and gujrat, as there is the cutoff is very much low. But if you are from uttar pradesh or delhi then your minimum marks will be 120 to qualify the examination and this is the cutoff for the north india. You cannot apply for any other state without knowing the regional language of that state, so you need to learn the regional language if you want to apply from any other state. As interviewer will test the language which you know very well after that he will think about you. So i hope that you might have understood that how much ,arks you need to score to get the selection in the ibps. For more details log on to www.ibps.in Thank you

Friend,The merit list is prepared on the basis of * Sectional cut off * Overall cut offSo it is mandatory for candidate to try to get more and more marks and simultaneously try to get minimum qualifying marks in section of question paper. We can say that there is fixed sectional cut off every year. But the overall cut off changes every year due to following factors: * Difficulty level of question paper * Number of vacancies * Number of candidatesIn order to clear sectional cut off, you required the score as follows: * 19 marks in each section for UR and OBC category * 17 marks in each section for SC/ST and PH categoryIn order to clear overall cut off and ensure the chances of getting call letter for interview, the required total marks are: * 140/200 marks for UR category * 130/200 marks for OBC category * 120/200 marks for SC & ST category * 110/200 marks for PH category
